writing about family

If you'd like to read about grandmère I wrote about her here... As it's nothing to do with yoga or the environment, I didn't quite feel it was appropriate to the theme of EcoYogini.

It isn't really the happiest of reads, so don't feel you must go there to visit with my memories. :)

Many Blessings!

  1. No, it's not happy. It's sad and beautiful. I miss my grandmothers. I know yours was happy to spend Christmas with you, even if she couldn't remember or express it.

  2. Thank you for this. I also have a grandmother that I feel like I'm slowly losing to age and disease. Whenever I see her I feel the push and pull of wanting to be around her, but finding it so hard to see her so diminished. I'll echo Vegan Burnout in that I'm so happy that you were able to spend a nice Christmas day with her, even if she didn't remember it afterwards.
